Jacobs has been involved in a variety of civil engineering projects leading to improvements in the infrastructure in the UK, Europe, India and several countries in Asia. Such projects are mainly in the transportation and infrastructure sectors, including railways, roads, bridges and marine transport facilities. More specialist work includes bulk storage facilities, public health engineering, and the civil engineering work associated with major residential, commercial and industrial complexes. Our expertise in structural engineering allows us to offer comprehensive services for the latter projects.

Cathay Pacific Headquarters, Hong KongClient: Cathay Pacific Airways Full structural, civil and geotechnical engineering consultancy services were provided for this new prestigious headquarters at Chek Lap Kok. |
| Northern Access Road to the CyberportClient: Territory Development Department, Hong Kong Government Design works of the access road which involves four bridges - one with spans of up to 56 meters - and extensive slope works in difficult ground. The designs also include all civil works such as drainage, the provision of three water mains and the relocation of an electrical substation to a saltwater pumping facility with associated building structure water mains and Electrical and Mechanical facilities design. |

Westin Resort and Golf Course, MacauClient: Aoki Corporation/ S.T.D.I. Full civil, structural and geotechnical engineering services for the project which consists of a 212-room luxury hotel and casino with an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse. We carried out all the structural designs for the buildings and all civil and geotechnical designs for the buildings and golf course, including the design of a new tertiary sewerage treatment plant and an arched access bridge linking the golf course over a road. |

Chek Lap Kok Airport, Ground Lighting and ServicesClient: Hong Kong Airport Authority Jacobs were responsible for the ground lighting designs, including all associated civil works and the marine facilities for the offshore lights, for both runways. For the north runway, we were also responsible for the design of the fire services, potable and irrigation water supply mains and all civil works associated with the airport communications and electricity supplies. |
